What have we been up to?

Welcome to a whistle-stop tour of OTD’s world in the last few weeks and months.

And what better place to start than in South America?

  • Chris Cummins and Daniel Velasco recently flew into Cartagena in Colombia, to seed a value selling model at a 100-person sales conference. It was a trip packed with valuable insight: notably being prepared for the unexpected and not judging a country – or its people – by what you might see in the mainstream media.
  • Talking of insights, Helen Gardiner helped us to deliver an insights training session in Liverpool, UK. As a former healthcare professional, Helen was ideally placed to work with the fabulous team of nurses in attendance.
  • Laila Keith and Louise Wilson have been in San Francisco to deliver an insights workshop for a large pharmaceutical firm. The duo worked closely with our customer’s medical team to create a training experience aligned to specific therapy areas and business priorities.
  • If you follow us on LinkedIn, you’ll be aware that this isn’t the only project Louise Wilson has been working on! Alongside Susie Rixon – and with the considerable help of several others – Louise has supported a life sciences company in rolling out a new prostate cancer drug across Europe.
  • We managed the staggered launch programme across multiple teams in different countries. As you can imagine, it demanded an exceptional level of organisation but it wasn’t the only programme to do so.
  • We also designed and delivered training to a medically focused team of clinical specialists and managers, who are responsible for supporting healthcare professionals in how to use a particular product. Huge thanks to Louise, Jo Dallas, Liz Connelly, Dave Cosgrove, Eve Thow, Lawrence Chan, Karen Thornton, Emma Gillies and Mohammad Al-Dwaidi for the role they played in a phenomenal project that spanned some 28 countries.
  • Louise Roberts has been everywhere from Birmingham to Barcelona but there can be few recent events that have given her more satisfaction than working with Tina Dullaghan. The dynamic duo have delivered their first, full, face-to-face Resilience programme since the pandemic.
  • Eve Thow conducted a virtual communication and facilitation workshop to the Asia-based team of a global pharmaceutical company. The session empowered delegates to express themselves; and the feedback Eve has received is truly inspiring.
  • Becky Farnworth and Chris Cummins were joined by several of our account managers including Sam Greenwood and Mike Lennon for an important and energetic session that looked at how highly effective account management supports OTD’s operations.
  • And finally, Chris hosted award-winning coach, trainer and author, Kay Cooke, and OTD’s very own NLP certified, Nathalie de Marce as part of the latest in a series of sessions which brings together many of the people Chris has trained in NLP over the years.
