National Selfie Day

As vaccinations take place worldwide and we edge towards normality, we’re beginning to make steps back to the workplace from an extended period of isolation.

That will not be an easy process for many of us.

We will have to face new challenges, adapt to new social situations and perhaps even relearn how to communicate effectively with each other.

It’s a process that will test our strength, our ability to cope and bounce back. And above all, it will demand that we are resilient.

All of these factors combined to make this year’s National Selfie Day a powerful event.

On a superficial level, it’s a celebration of the self-portrait that has helped to make social media so popular, but we think there’s more to it than that.

What do you see when you look at yourself?

We asked you for your contributions. This is what you told us.

Every picture tells a story
