Stopping the stigma of mental health

Eight members of our Birmingham-based team have successfully become Mental Health First Aiders.

Chris Cummins, Louise Botwood, Lian Bemrose, Sarah Crotty, Louise Roberts, Toni Addinall and Neville Algar have all qualified following a recent programme delivered by OTD business coach, Sarah Fogg,

Sarah is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and equips people with the practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues and the confidence to step in.

OTD has been working with Sarah to deliver this vital training to our own team, with a further session to follow.

It means that we can continue to support the health and wellbeing of our people, whether they’re working from home or the office.

The programme will also be available to OTD customers worldwide.

Sarah said: “What a delight it has been to work with these newly qualified Mental Health First Aiders, thank you to you all for your part in making this course an absolute pleasure. Now it’s over to you all to help stop the stigma and raise awareness of mental health!”

Members of the team took to social media to publicly thank Sarah:
