It’s been eventful

Equally Yours

Led by consultant, trainer and speaker, Nathan Dennis, we were treated to part two of Equally Yours, a groundbreaking board game that enables teams to talk openly and honestly about race. Challenging, emotive and informative, Nathan took us through the ‘terrain of race’, providing a platform for discussion and reflection on issues including racism, what it means to be British and the Black Lives Matter movement. It was a stirring session that has lived with everyone who experienced it for weeks after the event and is part of our efforts to bring about lasting, positive change.

Coach Forum

Nathan Dennis was also special guest at our latest business coach forum. He told us more about the recent session he’d delivered and provided an update on how OTD had been working with his charity to support people in the local community. Forum host, Louise Roberts, also introduced an engaging session on the modern learner, which was delivered by Shirley Tipper. It focused on how we can create new skills, as well as sharing tips and techniques. You’re more than welcome to join us at the Christmas Coach Forum on 16th December at 10:30am.

Lead Facilitator

Chris Cummins hosted a brilliant three-day ‘train the trainer’ event in Birmingham with a team of seven fabulous coaches. Jo Dallas, Carole Leybourne, Marie Loney, Marie Gardner, Jo Stimpson, Helen Gardiner and Ania Ruszkowski joined Chris at our new training suite. It wouldn’t be an OTD event without a video montage and Chris shared a short clip with the team at the end of the workshop to remind everyone of the amount of work that was done. It’s yet another example of accelerated learning and how hard work can be a huge amount of fun. Thank you to everyone who attended.
