It was over a year ago when we decided to have a strategic community plan. We had always been good at donating, fundraising and volunteering however these gestures of kindness on our part were very sporadic.
We have been working in particular with four partners within the Birmingham community: Edwards Trust, SIFA Fireside, First Class Foundation and last but not least, Birmingham Children’s Trust. We approached each partner and asked specifically what OTD could really do to support them. It wasn’t too long before our ‘Inspiring Communities Plan’ started to take shape.
