We’ve welcomed two new members to our Birmingham-based team.
Rubina Ramzan and Sarah Crotty have joined the OTD family as finance assistant and operational support assistant / FS tutor respectively.
Rubina has more than a decade of experience in finance, having previously worked in similar roles in the care and security sectors.
She has recently returned to work after a career break to raise her family.
Rubina will be ensuring that OTD’s suppliers and our diverse portfolio of national and international customers are paid and invoiced correctly.
Rubina said: “OTD is a fantastic company and this role is exactly what I was looking for. I’m a family oriented person and you can feel the sense of family unity within the team.
“In finance you are typically based in an office alongside other finance professionals, which can mean you’re a little detached from the core business. Here, I’m surrounded by people who perform a variety of roles, which gives a much better appreciation of the work that’s gone into our financial performance and why OTD is such a great place to work.”
A first-class honours graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London, Sarah will perform an important dual role within our apprenticeships division, OTD Quality Apprenticeships.
As an operational support assistant, she is responsible for data management, learner enrollment and ensuring the consistency and alignment of data across all programmes.
Sarah also leverages her experience as an academic coach, to provide part-time functional skills (English) tutoring to our learners.
